مَنْ يُكَنَّى أَبَا ثَوْرٍ أَبُو ثَوْرٍ الْفَهْمِيُّ

[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a garment made of Ma'afir fabric was brought. Abu Sufyan said, "May Allah curse this garment and those who made it." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not curse them, for they are from me and I am from them."

الطبراني:١٩٠٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْمَعَافِرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ الْفَهْمِيِّ قَالَ

كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأُتِيَ بِثَوْبٍ مِنْ ثِيَابِ الْمَعَافِرِ فَقَالَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ لَعَنَ اللهُ هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَلَعَنَ مَنْ عَمِلَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا تَلْعَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ»

Do not curse the people of Maafir

[AI] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day, and a garment from the garments of Maafir was brought. Abu Sufyan said, "May Allah curse this garment, and curse whoever makes it for it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not curse them, for they are from me and I am from them." Ishaq said, "And may Allah curse whoever makes it." This is the hadith of Harmalah al-Anbari.

كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا، فَأُتِيَ بِثَوْبٍ مِنْ ثِيَابِ الْمَعَافِرِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ: لَعَنَ اللهُ هَذَا الثَّوْبَ، وَلَعَنَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ لَهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «لَا تَلْعَنْهُمْ، فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ». وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: وَلَعَنَ اللهُ مَنْ يَعْمَلُهُ. حَدِيثُ حَرْمَلَةَ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ
