“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Ajwah and the rock* are from Paradise.’”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالصَّخْرَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَفِظْتُ الصَّخْرَةَ مِنْ فِيهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "The Ajwah date is from paradise and it is a remedy for poisoning."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السُّمِّ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Woe to the Achilles' tendon because of Hell-fire." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 454)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: One who wrongfully takes an extra tax (sahib maks) will not enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2937)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْقِتَالِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Even I, when a date palm or a tree from Paradise speaks, I respond."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَأَنَا وَصِيفٌ يَقُولُ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالشَّجَرَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The date palm and the rock, or he said the date palm and the tree in paradise resemble the believers."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالصَّخْرَةُ أَوْ قَالَ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالشَّجَرَةُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَكَّ الْمُشْمَعِلُّ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا وَصِيفٌ يَقُولُ «الشَّجَرَةُ وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ»

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Augury from the flight of birds, taking evil omens and the practice of pressomancy pertain to divination. Tarq: It is used in the sense of divination in which women threw stones. 'Iyafah: It means geomancy by drawing lines. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3907)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعِيَافَةُ وَالطِّيَرَةُ وَالطَّرْقُ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ»

«الشَّقِيُّ مَنْ شَقِيَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ وَالسَّعِيدُ مَنْ وُعِظَ بِغَيْرِهِ» فَأَتَيْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِقَوْلِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ وَمَا يُنْكَرُ هَذَا يَا ابْنَ وَاثِلَةَ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The tree and the date palm are from Paradise." Abu Al-Qasim said, "It is Al-Mushm'il ibn 'Amr ibn Iyas."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الشَّجَرَةُ وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ» قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ «هُوَ الْمُشْمَعِلُّ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ إِيَاسٍ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while I was a companion saying, "The tree and the Date-palm tree are from paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا وَصِيفٌ يَقُولُ «الشَّجَرَةُ وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ»

'Uthman bin Abi Al-As called for milk to be given to him (Mutarrif) to drink. Mutarrif said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Fasting is a shield like the shield of any one of you in battle."' Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Fasting is a shield."' (Sahih (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2230)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْقِتَالِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Indeed, it is a kind of gypsum."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْعِيَافَةَ وَالطَّرْقَ وَالطِّيَرَةَ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Abstaining from excess, Burdening others, and extravagance are all considered from good manners."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعِيَافَةُ وَالطِّيَرَةُ وَالطَّرْقُ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»

"الْعجْوةُ والصَّخْرةُ من الجنَّة ".

"الْعجْوةُ والصَّخْرةُ والشَّجرةُ مِن الْجنَّة ".
