[Machine] I heard my father talking, and he was familiar with the pre-Islamic era and the time of Islam. He said, "I tied some ropes with stakes, and a deer got caught in one of them. The rope turned and we followed its trail until we found a man who had taken it. We disputed and went to the Prophet ﷺ , and we found him sitting under a tree, sheltered by its shade. He settled the matter between us by dividing the deer into two parts. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, these ropes belong to me and they are in his leg.' He said, 'It is his.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, sometimes we are near water and camels come to us while they are thirsty, so we give them water. Will we be rewarded for that?' He said, 'Yes, in every moist liver, there is a reward.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, sometimes tall camels meet us while we are hungry.' He said, 'Say to the owner of the camels, say to the owner of the camels three times, 'If he comes, good, otherwise, let his ropes loose and milk her, and drink, and then tie the ropes again, and leave some for the next time.'"
