الطبراني:١٧٨١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ تَقِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي تَقِيٍّ الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي أَبُو تَقِيٍّ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْقُرَشِيِّ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ وَالْمِقْدَامَ بْنَ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ وَعَلَيْهِمَا بُرْنُسَانِ»
