[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ decided concerning Barwa' bint Washiq just as you have decided." So Ibn Mas'ud rejoiced.  

الطبراني:١٧٧٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ أُتِيَ فِي رَجُلٍ هَلَكَ وَتَرَكَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ دَخَلَ بِهَا وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا صَدَاقًا فَتَرَدَّدُوا إِلَيْهِ فِيهَا شَهْرًا لَا يَقُولُ فِيهَا شَيْئًا فَقَالَ أَقُولُ فِيهَا بِرَأْيِي فَإِنْ يَكُنْ خَطَأً فَمِنْ نَفْسِي وَإِنْ يَكُنْ صَوَابًا فَمِنَ اللهِ أَقُولُ «§لَهَا مَهْرُ نِسَائِهَا وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ» فَقَامَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ فَقَالَ

«قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَرْوَعَ بِنْتِ وَاشِقٍ مِثْلَ مَا قَضَيْتَ» فَفَرِحَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ
