[Machine] He said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we are a people who have entered into a new covenant with ignorance, while Allah has brought Islam. And there are among us men who practice divination.' He said, 'There was a prophet among the prophets who practiced divination, so whoever follows his way, that is acceptable.' I said, 'And there are among us men who seek omens.' He said, 'That is something they find in their hearts, but it does not harm them.' I said, 'And there are among us men who go to soothsayers.' He said, 'So do not go to them.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , narrated three hadiths: He said, "O Messenger of Allah, we used to have conversations during the period of ignorance, but Allah has brought Islam, and some of us still have superstitions." He said, "They can't be stopped from that which they find in their hearts." I said, "And some of us go to fortunetellers." He said, "They should not go to them." I said, "And some of us practice divination." He said, "There was a prophet among the prophets who practiced divination, and whoever approves of their method, then that is acceptable."
