[Machine] "He witnessed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Day of the Tree and on the Day of Sacrifice, kneeling before he reached his place, and that a man from the polytheists said, 'O Muhammad, what drives you to bring these people into us while we dislike them?' He said, 'These people are better than you and your ancestors. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and by Him in whose hand is my soul, certainly…'"  

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الشَّجَرَةِ وَيَوْمَ الْهَدْيِ مَعْكُوفًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ مَحِلَّهُ وَأَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُدْخِلَ هَؤُلَاءِ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ كَارِهُونَ؟ فَقَالَ «هَؤُلَاءِ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ وَمِنْ أَجْدَادِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ ؓ»
