[Machine] Indeed, my servant has remained (steadfast) and indeed I swore that if I find him, I will cut off his hand, but he said, "Do not cut off his hand. For indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stand among us and prohibit us from amputation and command us to give charity."  

الطبراني:١٥٤٧٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ فَقَالَ

إِنَّ عَبْدِي أَبَقَ وَإِنِّي حَلَفْتُ إِنْ وَجَدْتُهُ أَنْ أَقْطَعَ يَدَهُ فَقَالَ لَا تَقْطَعْ يَدَهُ «فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُومُ فِينَا فَيَنْهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ وَيَأْمُرُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ»

ابن حبّان:٥٦١٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَزَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ إِنَّ عَبْدًا لِي أَبَقَ وَإِنِّي نَذَرْتُ إِنْ أَصَبْتُهُ لَأَقْطَعَنَّ يَدَهُ قَالَ

«لَا تَقْطَعْ يَدَهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُومُ فِينَا فَيَأْمُرُنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَيَنْهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ»
