[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Makkah is the sanctuary of Allah. Its sacredness should not be violated, its trees should not be cut, and its animals should not be hunted." Al-Abbas said, "O Messenger of Allah, except for Al-Izhar, as it is a plant that we use for ropes and the roofs of our houses." He ﷺ said, "Except for Al-Izhar."  

الطبراني:١٢٦٧٨حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَكَّةُ حَرَمُ اللهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ لَا يُخْتَلَى خَلَاهَا وَلَا يُعْضَدُ شَجَرُهَا وَلَا يُخَافُ وَحْشُهَا» قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِلَّا الْإِذْخِرَ فَإِنَّهُ لِقَيْنِنَا وَلِظُهُورِ بُيُوتِنَا قَالَ «إِلَّا الْإِذْخِرَ»
