tabarani:10634 – Muʿādh b. al-Muthanná > Musaddad > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Abū al-Ṭufayl

[Machine] Muawiyah and Ibn Abbas performed Hajj, and Muawiyah took charge of all the rituals. Ibn Abbas said, "I only saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ take charge of these two pillars."  

الطبراني:١٠٦٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ

حَجَّ مُعَاوِيَةُ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَجَعَلَ مُعَاوِيَةُ يَسْتَلِمُ الْأَرْكَانَ كُلَّهَا فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْتَلِمُ هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ

[Machine] Muawiyah only took control of these two Yemeni pillars after the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , had passed away. Ibn Abbas said, "None of its pillars are neglected."
