[Machine] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said to me, "O Bilal, die as a poor man and do not die as a rich man." I asked, "How can I do that?" He replied, "Whatever you are given, do not hoard it, and whatever you are asked for, do not withhold it." So I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how can I do that?" He said, "Either you do that or face the fire of Hell."  

الطبراني:١٠٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ بِلَالٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا بِلَالُ مُتْ فَقِيرًا وَلَا تَمُتْ غَنِيًّا» قُلْتُ وَكَيْفَ بِذَاكَ؟ قَالَ «مَا رُزِقْتَ فَلَا تَخْبَأْ وَمَا سُئِلَتَ فَلَا تَمْنَعْ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ لِي بِذَاكَ؟ فَقَالَ «هُوَ ذَاكَ أَوِ النَّارُ»

He said, "If you are blessed with wealth, do not hoard it, and if you are asked for help, do not refuse." Bilal asked, "And how can I do that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Either do as I have instructed or face the fire of Hell."
