[Machine] About his grandfather Abdullah bin Hisham, he had met the Prophet ﷺ and his mother Zainab bint Humeid took him to the Prophet ﷺ. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, he is young." So the Prophet ﷺ wiped his head and prayed for him.  

عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَذَهَبَتْ بِهِ أُمُّهُ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ حُمَيْدٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هُوَ صَغِيرٌ «فَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَدَعَا لَهُ»  

Messenger of Allah, Salim (the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa) is living with us in our house, and he has attained (puberty) as men attain it and has acquired knowledge (of the sex problems) as men acquire, whereupon he said: Suckle him so that he may become unlawful (in regard to marriage) for you He (Ibn Abu Mulaika) said: I refrained from (narrating this hadith) for a year or so on account of fear. I then met al-Qasim and said to him: You narrated to me a hadith which I did not narrate (to anyone) afterwards. He said: What is that? I informed him, whereupon he said: Narrate it on my authority that 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) had narrated that to me. (Using translation from Muslim 1453c)  

أَنَّ سَهْلَةَ بِنْتَ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو جَاءَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ سَالِمًا مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ مَعَنَا فِي بَيْتِنَا وَقَدْ بَلَغَ مَا يَبْلُغُ الرِّجَالُ وَقَدْ عَلِمَ مَا يَعْلَمُ الرِّجَالُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَرْضِعِيهِ تَحْرُمِي عَلَيْهِ»  

[Machine] "A woman named Hudhayfah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'Indeed, Salim, the slave of Abu Hudhayfah, enters upon me while I am not fully covered. I find myself having uncomfortable feelings.' He (the Prophet) said, 'Breastfeed him, and you will be relieved of what you are experiencing.'"  

أَنَّ امْرَأَةَ حُذَيْفَةَ جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ سَالِمًا مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ يَدْخُلُ عَلِيَّ وَأَنَا وَاضِعَةٌ ثَوْبِي فَأَجِدُ فِي نَفْسِي فَقَالَ «أَرْضِعِيهِ يَذْهَبُ عَنْكِ الَّذِي تَجِدِينَ»  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ commanded Sahlah bint Suhail to breastfeed Salim so that he may remove the prohibited relationship between himself and Abu Hudhayfah."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ سَهْلَةَ بِنْتَ سُهَيْلٍ أَنْ تُرْضِعَ سَالِمًا لِيُذْهِبَ مَا فِي نَفْسِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ»  

[Machine] Sahla bint Suhail came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I see something concerning in the face of my father, Hudhaifah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Breastfeed him." She replied, "But he is old." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled and said, "Am I not aware that he is a man?" So she did as he instructed and came to him again, saying, "By the One who honored you with what He honored you with, I did not see anything concerning in the face of my father, Hudhaifah."  

جَاءَتْ سَهْلَةُ بِنْتُ سُهَيْلٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَأَرَى فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ مِنْ أَمَرِ سَالِمٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَرْضِعِيهِ» فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهُ كَبِيرٌ فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ «أَلَيْسَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ رَجُلٌ؟» قَالَتْ فَفَعَلَتْ فَأَتَتْهُ فَقَالَتْ وَالَّذِي أَكْرَمَكَ بِمَا أَكْرَمَكَ بِهِ مَا رَأَيْتُ فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ شَيْئًا
