"إذا أثنى عليك جيرانُك أنَّك مُحْسنٌ فأنت محسنٌ، وإذا أثنى عليك جيرانُك أنك مسئٌ فأنت مُسِئٌ" .  

[كر] ابن عساكر في تاريخه عن ابن مسعود أن رجلا قال: يا رسول الله: متى أكون محسنًا؟ ومتى أكون مُسِيئًا؟ قال: فذكره
