"أيُّمَا ضَيْفٍ نَزَلَ بقَوْمٍ فَأصبَحَ الضيفُ مَحْرُومًا فَلَهُ أنْ يَأخُذَ بقَدْرِ قِرَاه وَلا حَرَج عَلَيهِ".

[حم] أحمد [ك] الحاكم في المستدرك عن أَبي هريرة ضى (ورواه أبو داود من حديث المقدام أبي كريمة الشامى بلفظ: "أَيمَا مُسْلِم أضَافَ قَوْمًا فَأصْبَحَ الضيفُ محرومًا فإِن حَقًّا عَلَى مُسْلِم نَصْرُه حَتَّى يَأخُذَ لَهُ بِقِرَى مثْلِهِ مِنْ زَرْعِهِ وَمَالِهِ"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Any guest who stays with a people and becomes forbidden (i.e., unable to leave), it is permissible for him to take what is enough for his sustenance, and there is no burden on him."
