[AI] While we were reading among us were the Arab, non-Arab, black, and white, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said, "You are in a good state as you read the Book of Allah and among you is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ نَقْرَأُ فِينَا الْعَرَبِيُّ وَالْعَجَمِيُّ وَالْأَسْوَدُ وَالْأَبْيَضُ إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَنْتُمْ فِي خَيْرٍ تَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَ اللهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَسَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَثْقَفُونَهُ كَمَا يَثْقَفُونَ الْقَدَحَ يَتَعَجَّلُونَأُجُورَهُمْ وَلَا يَتَأَجَّلُونَهَا

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet that he came to us and said, "Indeed, among you there is someone better than you, meaning the Messenger of Allah, and you recite the Book of Allah. Amongst you there are those with red, white, Arab, and non-Arab skin. There will come a time when they will recite the Quran, seeking worldly gains from it, just as the vessel is hurriedly and haphazardly dipped into the bucket, not giving it time for proper immersion."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ فِيكُمْ خَيْرًا مِنْكُمْ يَعْنِي رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَ اللهِ فِيكُمُ الْأَحْمَرُ وَالْأَبْيَضُ وَالْعَرَبِيُّ وَالْعَجَمِيُّ وَسَيَأْتِي زَمَانٌ يَقْرَءُونَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ يَتَثَقَّفُونَهُ كَمَا يَتَثَقَّفُ الْقَدَحُ يَتَعَجَّلُونَ أُجُورَهُمْ وَلَا يَتَأَجَّلُونَهَا

"أَنْتم في خيرٍ تقرءُون كتابَ اللهِ، وفيكم رسول الله ﷺ وسيأتي ناسٌ يُثَقِّفُونه كما يُثَقَّفُ القِدْحُ يَتَعجلون أَجُورَهَم ولا يَتَأَجَّلُونها".

حم عن أَنس بن مالك، قال: بينا نحن نقرأُ فينا العربي، والعجمى، والأَسود إِذ خَرج علينا رسول الله ﷺ ، قال: أَنتم وذكروه).
