"عَنْ أنس قَالَ: دخلَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ذاتَ يوم فإذَا حبل ممدود فقالَ: ما هَذَا؟ قِيلَ: فُلاَنة تُصَلى يارسولَ اللهِ ﷺ فإذا أعيت السيْرَ على هذا الحبل. قال: فلتصل ما نشطت فإذا أعيت فلتنم".
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the masjid and saw a rope tied between two pillars. He said: "What is this?" They said: "It is for Zainab when she prays; if she gets tired she holds on to it." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Untie it. Let any one of you pray as long as he has energy, and if he gets tired let him sit down."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَأَى حَبْلاً مَمْدُودًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا الْحَبْلُ فَقَالُوا لِزَيْنَبَ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا فَتَرَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ حُلُّوهُ لِيُصَلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَشَاطَهُ فَإِذَا فَتَرَ فَلْيَقْعُدْ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a rope extended between two pillars and asked, "Whose is this?" They said, "It belongs to Hamna bint Jahsh. She prays, and when she gets tired, she holds onto it." He said, "Tell her to pray as much as she can, and if she gets tired, let her sit down."
رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَبْلًا مَمْدُودًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لِمَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا لِحَمْنَةَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا عَجَزَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ لِتُصَلِّي مَا أطَاقَتْ فَإِذَا عَجَزَتْ فَلْتَقْعُدْ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ entered the mosque and saw a rope stretched between two columns. Ibn Abi Adi asked about it and they said, "It's Fulanah, she prays and when she feels weak, she holds onto it." He said, "Let her continue praying as long as she does not lose her mind. But if she loses it, she should sleep."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَأَى حَبْلًا مَمْدُودًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا فُلَانَةُ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا غُلِبَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ لِتُصَلِّ مَا عَقَلَتْ فَإِذَا غُلِبَتْ فَلْتَنَمْ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a rope between two pillars in the mosque and he asked, "What is this rope?" It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is for Hammadah bint Jahsh who prays, and when she becomes tired, she holds onto it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let her pray as much as she can, and when she becomes tired, let her sit down."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى فِي الْمَسْجِدِ حَبْلًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا الْحَبْلُ؟ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِحَمْنَةَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا أَعْيَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِتُصَلِّ مَا أَطَاقَتْ فَإِذَا أَعْيَتْ فَلْتَجْلِسْ
ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْمَرْءِ النَّافِلَةَ إِذَا غَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ مَا لَا يَعْلَمُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) entered the mosque and saw a rope stretched between two pillars, so he asked "What is this?". They said, "It is for so-and-so woman who prays, and when she gets tired, she holds on to it." The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, "Let her make her prayer as long as she is focused and attentive. But if she fears that she might be overwhelmed, then let her shorten it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَأَى حَبْلًا مَمْدُودًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا؟ » قَالُوا فُلَانَةٌ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا أَعْيَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لِتُصَلِّ مَا عَقَلَتْ فَإِذَا خَشِيَتْ أَنْ تُغْلَبَ فَلْتَنَمْ»
ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْمَرْءِ الصَّلَاةَ بِاللَّيْلِ مَا لَمْ تَغْلِبْهُ عَيْنُهُ عَلَيْهِ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a rope stretched between two pillars in the mosque and asked, "What is this rope for?" They said, "It is for Fulanah who prays with it. When she feels weak, she holds onto it." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Let her pray whatever she is able to understand. And if she feels weak, let her sit down."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِحَبْلٍ مَمْدُودٍ بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا الْحَبْلُ؟ » قَالُوا فُلَانَةٌ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا خَشِيَتْ أَنْ تُغْلَبَ أَخَذَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لِتُصَلِّي مَا عَقَلَتْهُ فَإِذَا غُلِبَتْ فَلْتَنَمْ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and saw a rope extended between two posts. He asked, "What is this rope?" They replied, "It belongs to so-and-so. When she prays, she holds onto it. If she feels weak or tired during prayer, she holds onto it for support." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let her pray without holding onto it. What has happened to her mind? If she feels afraid of being weakened, she should sleep."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَأَى حَبْلًا مَمْدُودًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا الْحَبْلُ؟ قَالُوا لِفُلَانَةَ تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا غُلِبَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِتُصَلِّي مَا عَقِلَتْ فَإِذَا خَشِيَتْ أَنْ تُغْلَبَ فَلْتَنَمْ
