Hajj rites are for the remembrance of Allah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Circumambulation of the House, going between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and stoning the jamarat were only prescribed for establishing the remembrance of Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَرَمْىُ الْجِمَارِ لإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ».

The Prophet said: "Stoning the Jimar and Sa'i between As-Safa and Al-Marwah are only done for the establishment of Allah's remembrance."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ رَمْىُ الْجِمَارِ وَالسَّعْىُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ

[AI] The translation of the given Arabic phrase is: "Indeed, the purpose of circumambulating the Ka'bah, stoning the pillars, and walking between Safa and Marwa is for the remembrance of Allah." Abu Asim used to recite it.

«إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَرَمْيُ الْجِمَارِ وَالسَّعْيُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ كَانَ يَرْفَعُهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Going round the House (the Ka'bah), running between as-Safa and lapidation of the pillars are meant for the remembrance of Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1888)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the tawaf around the Kaaba, the sa'i between Safa and Marwa, and the stoning of the pillars (during Hajj rituals) were only prescribed for the remembrance of Allah."
