Kaʿb bin 'Ujra said that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him (Kaʿb), "Perhaps your lice have troubled you?" Kaʿb replied, "Yes! O Messenger of Allah ﷺ." Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Have your head shaved and then either fast three days or feed six poor persons or slaughter one sheep as a sacrifice."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَعَلَّكَ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ احْلِقْ رَأْسَكَ وَصُمْ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ أَوِ انْسُكْ بِشَاةٍ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ordered Ka'b to shave his head because of lice. He said to him, "Fast for three days or feed six poor people, one mudd each."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ كَعْبًا أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْقَمْلِ قَالَ صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ مُدَّيْنِ مُدَّيْنِ أَوْ اذْبَحْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ commanded him to fast for three days or feed six poor people or slaughter a sheep.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَصُومَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ يُطْعِمَ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ أَوْ يَذْبَحَ شَاةً

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ordered Ka'b, when he shaved his head, to either slaughter a sheep, fast for three days, or feed a group of six poor individuals.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ كَعْبًا حِينَ حَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ شَاةً أَوْ يَصُومَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ يُطْعِمَ فِرْقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to shave his head and perform a sacrifice or fast for three days or feed a group of six poor people.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ وَيَنْسُكَ نُسُكًا أَوْ يَصُومَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ يُطْعِمَ فِرْقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِمَسَاكِينَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Humayd bin Qays from Mujahid Abu'l Hajjaj from Ibn Abi Layla from Kab ibn Ujra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Perhaps your pests are troubling you?" He replied that indeed they were, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shave your head and fast three days or feed six poor men or sacrifice a sheep."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ لَعَلَّكَ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّكَ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ احْلِقْ رَأْسَكَ وَصُمْ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ أَوِ انْسُكْ بِشَاةٍ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to shave his head and perform a ritual sacrifice, or fast for three days or feed six needy people."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ وَيَنْسُكَ نُسُكًا أَوْ يَصُومَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ يُطْعِمَ فَرَقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينٍ»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ ordered Ka'b ibn Ujrah to shave his head from lice, then he said, 'fast for three days or feed six poor people, a measure of the measure, or sacrifice (an animal).'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ كَعْبَ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْقَمْلِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينٍ مُدَّيْنِ مُدَّيْنِ أَوِ اذْبَحْ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ commanded him to shave his head from lice, so he said, "Fast for three days or feed six needy people or slaughter (an animal)."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْقَمْلِ فَقَالَ «صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينٍ أَوِ اذْبَحْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Perhaps your spoiling is causing you harm?" So, I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shave your head, fast for three days, or feed six poor people, or slaughter a sheep."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَلَّكَ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّكَ؟ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ احْلِقْ رَأْسَكَ وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ أَوِ انْسُكْ شَاةً

"قَدْ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّ رَأسكَ. احْلِقْ ثُمَّ اذبحْ شَاةً نُسُكًا، أوْ صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، أو أَطْعِمْ ثَلاثَة آصُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ".

"لَعَلَّكَ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّكَ، احْلِقْ رأْسَكَ وَصُمْ ثَلاثَةَ أيَّام، أوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ، أَو انْسُكَ شَاةً".
