"إِنَّ من عبادِ اللَّه من لو أَقسمَ على اللَّه لأَبرَّة".

حم، وعبد بن حميد خ، م، د، ن، هـ، حب عن أَنس .

(أَن الرُّبَيِّعَ بنتَ النضرِ عمَّةَ أَنسٍ لطمت جارية، فكسرت سِنَّها، فعرضوا عليهم الأَرشَ فأَبَوْا، فطلبوا العفَو فأَبَوْا، فأَتَوا النبِىَّ ﷺ، فأَمرهم بالقصاصِ، فجاءَ أَخوها أَنسُ بنُ النضرِ، فقال: يا رسولَ اللَّه، أَتكسِرُ سِنَّ الرُّبَيِّع؟ والذى بعثك بالحقِّ، لا تكسِرُ سِنَّها، فقال: يا أَنسُ، كتابُ اللَّه القصاصُ، فعفا القومُ، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: إِنَّ منْ. وذكره)

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ أَبْطَلَ وُجُودَ الْمُعْجِزَاتِ فِي الْأَوْلِيَاءِ دُونَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ

ibnhibban:6483 – Ibn Qutaybah > Yazīd b. Mawhab > Ibn Wahb > Ḥafṣ b. Maysarah > al-ʿAlāʾ b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman from his father > Abū Hurayrah

Many a person with disheveled hair and covered with dust is turned away from the doors (whereas he is held in such a high esteem by Allah) that if he were to adjure in the name of Allah (about anything) Allah would fulfil that. (Using translation from Muslim 2622)

ابن حبّان:٦٤٨٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «رُبَّ أَشْعَثَ ذِي طِمْرَيْنِ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, among the servants of Allah, there are those who, if they were to swear by Allah, He would fulfill their oath."
