"عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ قَالَ: بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ حُذَافَةَ فَنَادَى فِى أَيَّامِ التَشْرِيقِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ هذِهِ أَيَّامُ أَكْل وَشُرْبٍ، وذكرِ اللَّهِ، لَا تَصُومُوا إلَّا مَنْ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ صَوْمٌ مِنْ هَدْىٍ".

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Abdullah ibn Hudhayfa out on the days of Mina to circulate among the people to tell them those days were for eating and drinking and remembrance of Allah.
