from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "The truest verse spoken by a poet is: 'Indeed, everything apart from Allah ﷻ is false.'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «أَصْدَقُ بَيْتٍ قَالَهُ الشَّاعِرُ: أَلاَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ مَا خَلاَ اللَّهَ بَاطِلُ».
The truest verse recited by a poet is: "Behold! apart from Allah everything is vain," and Ibn Abu Salt was almost a Muslim.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَصْدَقُ بَيْتٍ قَالَهُ الشَّاعِرُ أَلاَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ مَا خَلاَ اللَّهَ بَاطِلٌ وَكَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: The truest word which the poet stated is the word of Labid: "Behold! apart from Allah everything is vain."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَصْدَقَ كَلِمَةٍ قَالَهَا شَاعِرٌ كَلِمَةُ لَبِيدٍ أَلاَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ مَا خَلاَ اللَّهَ بَاطِلٌ مَا زَادَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ
[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ , the most truthful statement said by the poet [Al-Bahr Al-Taweel]: Indeed, everything except Allah is void, and the son of Abu Salat was about to surrender."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَصْدَقُ بَيْتٍ قَالَهُ الشَّاعِرُ[البحر الطويل]أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللهَ بَاطِلُوَكَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ يُسْلِمُ
[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said from the pulpit: 'The longest poem ever recited by the Arabs is "Al-Bahr Al-Taweel" (The Long Sea)." Then he added, 'Behold, everything that exists besides Allah is false.' Umayyah bin Abi As-Salt almost became Muslim.'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ أَشْعَرُ بَيْتٍ قَالَتْهُ الْعَرَبُ[البحر الطويل]أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللهَ بَاطِلُوَكَادَ أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ
"The truest of wods spoken by the poet are the words of Labid: Everything except Allah is false.' And Abu Umayyah bin Abu Salt nearly accepted Islam." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3757)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the most truthful statement ever spoken by poets is: 'Verily, everything without Allah is falsehood.' This is in the poem of al-Bahr al-Taweel. And in another narration by Ghandar on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ ."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ أَصْدَقَ بَيْتٍ قَالَتْهُ الشُّعَرَاءُ [البحر الطويل] أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللهَ بَاطِلُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ النَّضْرِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ غُنْدَرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
[AI] He said, Messenger of Allah ﷺ , said, "The most truthful saying said by the Arabs is: Behold! Everything other than Allah is false." This hadith was reported in Sahih from the narration of Ghandar from Shu'bah.
