suyuti:712a –

the Messenger of Allah said: "Count the (the appearances of) the crescent of Sha'ban for Ramadan." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 687)   

السيوطي:٧١٢a –

"أَحْصُوا هلالَ شعبان لرمضان" .  

[ت] الترمذي وضعفه، وابن أبى عاصم في كتاب الصوم، [طس] الطبرانى في الأوسط [ك] الحاكم في المستدرك [ق] البيهقى في السنن عن أبى هريرة، وصححه ابن العربى أيضًا
