The Prophet ﷺ prayed in one garment and crossed its ends.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ

Abu Murra narrated on the authority of Umm Hani that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the Conquest of Mecca observed in her house eight rak'ahs of prayer in one cloth, its opposite corners having been tied from the opposite sides.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهَا عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ

[AI] "I saw the Prophet praying in a single garment with a separation between its two ends."

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ

[AI] "He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in the house of Umm Salamah, wearing a wrapped garment that was distinct on either side."

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فِي ثَوْبٍ مُلْتَحِفًا بِهِ مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying eight rak'ahs in one garment, differentiating between its two sides, in Makkah on the day of the conquest.

أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ بِمَكَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Musa ibn Maysara from Abu Murra, the mawla of Aqil ibn Abi Talib, that Umm Hani bint Abi Talib told him that in the year of the conquest the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed eight rakas, covering himself with one garment.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ مُلْتَحِفًا فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ

“I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing prayer in a single garment, wrapping himself in it and throwing the ends over his shoulders.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1049)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدِ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

The Prophet ﷺ prayed in one garment and crossed its ends. (Using translation from Bukhārī 354)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying girded with a single (piece of) cloth, place its two ends over his shoulders. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 628)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in my mother's house wearing only one garment, which he had wrapped around his waist."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّي يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in the house of Umm Salamah, with one garment covering him, yet it did not reach between his shoulders.

أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُشْتَمِلًا بِهِ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in a single garment that was different between its sides.

أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

The Prophet ﷺ prayed in one garment and crossed its ends. (Using translation from Bukhārī 354)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed eight units of prayer in his house during the year of the conquest, while wearing a single garment that covered both of his shoulders.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهَا عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ

"صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِى ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفيهِ".
