"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ يَدْعُو حَتَّى أَنِّي لأَسْأَمُ لَهُ مِمَّا يَرْفَعُهُمَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَلَا تُعَذِّبْنِي بِشَتْم رَجُلٍ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ آذَيْتُهُ".
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands and pray, until Allah hears him, saying: "O Allah, I am only a human being, so do not punish me for the insult of a man from the Muslims if I have harmed him."

أَنَّهَا رَأَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَدْعُورَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي بَشَرٌ فَلَا تُعَاقِبْنِي أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ وَشَتَمْتُهُ فَلَا تُعَاقِبْنِي فِيهِ
