"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ يَدْعُو حَتَّى أَنِّي لأَسْأَمُ لَهُ مِمَّا يَرْفَعُهُمَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَلَا تُعَذِّبْنِي بِشَتْم رَجُلٍ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ آذَيْتُهُ".
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands and pray, until Allah hears him, saying: "O Allah, I am only a human being, so do not punish me for the insult of a man from the Muslims if I have harmed him."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ يَدْعُو حَتَّى أَسْمَعَ اللهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَلَا تُعَاقِبْنِي بِشَتْمِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِنْ آذَيْتُهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands and pray, to the extent that I would become tired from how high he would raise them. He would say, "O Allah, I am only a human being, so do not punish me for the insults or harm that I have inflicted upon others."
