"إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بن قَيْسٍ أُعْطِى مِزْمَارًا من مزامير آل دَاوُدَ".
'Abdullah b. Qais or al-Ash'ari has been gifted with a sweet melodious voice out of the voices of the family of David.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ أَوِ الأَشْعَرِيَّ أُعْطِيَ مِزْمَارًا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard the recitation of Abu Musa and said: 'This man has been given a Mizmar among the Mazamir of the family of Dawud, peace be upon him.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1020)
سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَبَا مُوسَى وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ فَقَالَ «لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ هَذَا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ»
