" سَمِعْتُ مُؤَذِّنَ النَّبِىّ ﷺ في لَيْلَةٍ بَارِدَةٍ وَأَنَا فِى لِحَافٍ، فَتَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ يَقُولَ صَلُّوا في رِحَالِكُمْ، فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ حَى عَلَى الفَلَاحِ، قَالَ: صَلُّوا في رِحَالِكُمْ، ثُمَّ سَأَلْت عَنْهَا فَإِذَا النَّبِىُّ ﷺ كَانَ أَمَر بِذَلِكَ".
Request/Fix translation
[Machine] I heard the Prophet’s muadhin (caller to prayer) on a cold night while I was under my blanket, and I wished for him to say "Pray in your homes". When he reached the part of the adhan that says "Hayya ‘ala al-falah" (come to success), he instead said "Pray in your homes". Then I asked about it, and it turns out that the Prophet ﷺ had commanded him to say that.
