"إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذا ماتَ بِغَيرِ مَوْلِدِه قِيسَ لَهُ مِنْ مَوْلِدِه إِلى منقَطِع أثَرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ".
"A man who had been born in Al-Madinah died there, and the Messenger of Allah prayed for him, then he said: 'Would that he had died somewhere other than the place where he was born.' They said: 'Why is that, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: If a man dies somewhere other than the place where he was born, a space in him equal to the distance between the place where he was born and the place where he died."
مَاتَ رَجُلٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مِمَّنْ وُلِدَ بِهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَهُ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ قَالُوا وَلِمَ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ قِيسَ لَهُ مِنْ مَوْلِدِهِ إِلَى مُنْقَطَعِ أَثَرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
[Machine] A man died in the city, so the Prophet ﷺ prayed for him and said, "I wish he had died in a different place." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, why?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "When a person dies in a place other than his birthplace, his trace is connected from his birthplace to the point where he died in Paradise."
تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ «يَا لَيْتَهُ مَاتَ فِي غَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لَمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا مَاتَ فِي غَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ قِيسَ لَهُ مِنْ مَوْلِدِهِ إِلَى مُنْقَطَعِ أَثَرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
"يَا لَيْتَهُ مَاتَ في غَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ، إِنَّ الرَّجلَ إِذَا مَاتَ في غَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ قِيسَ لَهُ مِنْ مَوْلِدِهِ إِلى مُنْقَطَع أَثَرِهِ في الْجَنَّةِ".
"يَا لَيْتَهُ مَاتَ فِى غَيْرِ مَوْلدِهِ، إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا تُوُفِّىَ فِى غَيْرِ مَوْلِدِهِ قِيسَ لَهُ مِنْ مَوْلِدِهِ إِلَى مُنْقَطَعِ أَثَرِهِ فِى الْجَنَّةِ".
