"عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عُثْمَانَ يَوْمَ جَيْشِ العُسْرَةِ (جَائِيًا) (*) وَذَاهِبًا، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِعُثْمَانَ مَا أقْبَلَ وَمَا أدْبَرَ وَمَا أَخْفَى وَمَا أَعْلَنَ وَمَا أَسَرَّ وَمَا جَهَرَ".
