"عَن ابنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: إنّ الشَّمْسَ تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَىْ شَيْطَانٍ فَمَا تَرْتَفِعُ مِنْ قَصَبَةٍ فِى السَّمَاءِ إلَّا فُتحِ لَهَا بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإذَا كَانَتْ الظَّهِيرَةُ فُتِحَتْ لَها أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّم جَمِيعًا، فَكُنَّا ننهى أَنْ نُصَلِّى نصْفَ النَّهَارِ وَعِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَعِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا".

[Machine] "Verily, the sun rises between the two horns of the devil, so no stalk rises except that a door from the doors of Hellfire is opened for it. And when it is midday, the doors of Hellfire are opened for it. Abdullah used to forbid us from performing prayers during these two hours, from the time it rises until it reaches its zenith and halfway through the day."  

الطبراني:٩٢٨٠حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
