"عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: السَّهْوُ إِذَا قَامَ فِيمَا يُجْلَسُ فِيهِ، أَوْ قَعَدَ فِيمَا يُقَامُ فِيهِ أَوْ يَجْلِسُ في رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ يَفْرُغُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ وَيَسْجُدُ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ يَتَشَهَّدُ فِيهَا".

[Machine] "Neglect occurs when one stands in a position where one should be sitting, or sits in a position where one should be standing, or offers salutations during the two units of prayer. In that case, one should complete their prayer and then perform two prostrations while sitting and reciting the tashahhud."  

الطبراني:٩٣٦٤حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

[Machine] He said that if a person makes a mistake while standing or sitting, or if they bow down in what should be done while standing, or perform the Salam while in the two units of prayer, then they should complete their prayer and perform two prostrations while still sitting, making the Tashahhud during those two prostrations, and then perform the Salam.
