"عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْب قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ المَسْجِدَ والإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ فَرَكَعنَا، ثُمَّ قَضيْنَا حَتَّى اسْتَوَيْنَا فِي الصَّفِّ، فَلَمَا فَرَغَ الإِمَامُ قُمْتُ أُصَلِّى، فَقَالَ: قَدْ أَدْرَكْتَهُ".

[Machine] I entered the mosque with Ibn Mas'ood and the Imam was in the state of ruku' (bowing during prayer). We also performed ruku' and then we proceeded until we reached the row (for prayer). When the Imam finished, I stood up to complete my prayer and he said, "You have caught up with it (the prayer)."
