[Machine] A man said to Ibn Umar, "Do you consider Witr (odd number of units of prayer) to be a recommended practice?" He replied, "It is not a recommended practice, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Witr and the Muslims also prayed Witr." The man then asked, "So, it is not recommended?" Ibn Umar replied, "Are you trying to understand whether it is recommended or not? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Witr and the Muslims also prayed Witr."
