"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: أَسْلَمَتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ وَزَوْجُهَا الْعَاصُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ مُشْرِكٌ، فَأَسْلَمَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَأَقَرَّهُمَا النَّبِىُّ ﷺ عَلَى نِكَاحِهِمَا".

[Machine] Zaynab, the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ , and her husband, Abu al-'As bin ar-Rabi', were originally polytheists but later they embraced Islam. The Prophet ﷺ then approved their marriage.
