A man came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! What do you say about a man who loves some people but cannot catch up with their good deeds?" Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves."

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا وَلَمْ يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

It was said to the Prophet; , "A man may love some people but he cannot catch up with their good deeds?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves."

قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ قَالَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

What is your opinion about the person who loves the people but his (acts or deeds are not identical to theirs)? Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A person would be along with one whom he loves.

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي رَجُلٍ أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

" O Muhammad! A man loves the people but does not catch up to them (in deeds)." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A man shall be with whomever he loves."

يَا مُحَمَّدُ الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, a man loves a people but does not reach their level of goodness, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A person will be with those whom he loves.'"

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَا يَبْلُغُ عَمَلَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, a man loves a nation but his actions do not reach them." The Prophet (PBUH) said, "A person will be with whom he loves."

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَا يَبْلُغُ عَمَلَهُمْ قَالَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I love a people, but they do not love me in return." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "A person will be with those whom he loves."

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

" O Muhammad! A man loves the people but does not catch up to them (in deeds)." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A man shall be with whomever he loves." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2387)

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ رَجُلٌ أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ قَالَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ came and a man said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of a person who loves a group of people but is not able to join them?" He ﷺ replied, "A person will be with those whom he loves."

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ رَجُلًا يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ؟ قَالَ «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»
