"عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ أَنَّ عَليّا سُئِلَ عَنْ وضُوءِ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا، وَذِراعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا، وَمَسَح عَلَى رَأسهِ حَتَّى لَمَّا يَقْطُرْ، وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا كَانَ وضُوءُ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ ".
he wiped his head so much so that drops (of water) were about to trickle down. He then washed his feet three times and said: This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablutions.
عَنْ وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ حَتَّى لَمَّا يَقْطُرْ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
he wiped his head so much so that drops (of water) were about to trickle down. He then washed his feet three times and said: This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablutions. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 114)
عَنْ وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ حَتَّى الْمَاءُ يَقْطُرُ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
[Machine] About the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he poured water into the container and then said, "Where is the one asking about the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" So he washed his hands three times, his face three times, his arms three times, and wiped his head until he felt the wetness. He washed his feet three times, three times. Then he said, "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution." The narration of the jurist does not include his statement, "until he felt the wetness," but the rest of the narration is the same.
عَنْ وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَرَاقَ الْمَاءَ فِي الرَّحَبَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنْ وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَوَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ حَتَّى أَلَمَّ أَنْ يَقْطُرَ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ لَيْسَ فِي رِوَايَةِ الْفَقِيهِ قَوْلُهُ حَتَّى أَلَمَّ أَنْ يَقْطُرَ وَالْبَاقِي سَوَاءٌ
