السيوطي:٣٩٠٩a –

"اقْدُرِ النَّاسَ بأَضْعَفِهِمْ؛ فإن فيهم الضَّعيفَ، والكبير، وذا الحاجة، وإذا كُنْتَ وحدَك فطَوِّلْ ما شِئْتَ، وإن أَتَاكَ المؤذِّنُ يُرِيدُ أن يُؤذِّن فلا تمنعه".

"عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا أَمَّرَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِى العَاصِ عَلَى الطَائِفِ قَالَ لَهُ فِى قَوْلٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ: أَقْدِرِ النَّاسَ بأضْعَفِهِمْ، فَإِنَّ فِيهمْ الكَبِيرَ، وَالضَّعِيفَ، وَذَا الحَاجَةِ وَإِذَا كُنْتَ وَحْدَكَ فَطَوِّلْ ما شئت، وَإِذَا أَتَاكَ المُؤَذِّنُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فَلا تَمْنَعْهُ".
