I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2144)   

السيوطي:٣٣٨٩a

"أَطْعِمُوهُنَّ مِمَّا تأكلون، واكُسُوهنَّ ممَّا تكتسون، ولا تضْرِبوهُنَّ ولا تُقَبِّحوهُنَّ" .  

[د] أبو داود عن بهز بن حكيم، عن أبيه، عن جده قال: قلت: يا رسول الله! ما تقول في نسائنا؟ قال: فذكره
