السيوطي:٢٦٨-١b –

" عَنْ حُسَيلِ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ الأَشجَعِىِّ قَالَ: قَدَمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فِى جَلَبٍ أَبِيعُهُ، فَأُتى بِه إلَى رسُولِ الله ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا حُسَيْلُ هَلْ لَكَ أَنْ أُعْطِيَكَ عِشْرِينَ صَاعَ تَمْرٍ عَلَى أَنْ تَدُلَّ أَصْحَابِى هَؤُلاءِ عَلَى خَيْبَرَ؟ فَفَعَلْتُ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رسُولُ الله ﷺ خَيْبَرَ أَتَيْتُهُ فَأَعطَانِى العِشْرينَ صَاعَ تَمْرٍ، ثُمَّ أُتِىَ بِى إلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لى: يَا حُسَيْلُ إِنِّى لَمْ أوتَ بِامْرِئٍ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يُسْلِمْ، فَخَرَجَ الْحَبْلُ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ الأَصْغَرِ، قَالَ: فَأَسْلَمْتُ".

حُسَيْلُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ

tabarani:3568 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥaḍramī > Aḥmad b. Sinān al-Wāsiṭī > Yaʿqūb b. Muḥammad al-Zuhrī > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿImrān > Ibrāhīm b. Ḥūwayyiṣah al-Ḥārithī > Maʿn b. Jūwayriyah > Ḥusayl b. Khārijah al-Ashjaʿī

[Machine] I arrived in the city with some goods that I was selling. Then the Prophet ﷺ came to me and said, "Will you give me twenty saa's of dates if I guide my companions to the way of Khaybar?" So, I agreed. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Khaybar and opened it, I came to him and he gave me the twenty saa's of dates. After that, I embraced Islam.

قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي جَلَبٍ أَبِيعُهُ فَأُتِيَ بِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَجْعَلُ لَكَ عِشْرِينَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَلَى أَنْ تَدُلَّ أَصْحَابِي هَؤُلَاءِ عَلَى طَرِيقِ خَيْبَرَ» فَفَعَلْتُ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْبَرَ وَفَتَحَهَا جِئْتُ فَأَعْطَانِي الْعِشْرِينَ ثُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ
