I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then the Prophet ﷺ said something which I could not understand. I asked my father: What did he say? He said: He has said that all of them (twelve Caliphs) will be from the Quraish.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَزَالُ الإِسْلاَمُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَىْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي مَا قَالَ فَقَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

This order will continue to be dominant until there have been twelve Caliphs. The narrator says: Then he said something which I could not understand, and I said to my father: What did he say? My father told me that he said that all of them (Caliphs) would be from the Quraish.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ يَزَالُ هَذَا الأَمْرُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَىْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً قَالَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِشَىْءٍ لَمْ أَفْهَمْهُ فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي مَا قَالَ فَقَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

I went with my father to the Messenger of Allah (may peeace be upon him) and I heard him say: This religion would continue to remain powerful and dominant until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then he added something which I couldn't catch on account of the noise of the people. I asked my father: What did he say? My father said: He has said that all of them will be from the Quraish.

انْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَمَعِي أَبِي فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لاَ يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا إِلَى اثْنَىْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً فَقَالَ كَلِمَةً صَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي مَا قَالَ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: The religion will continue to be established till there are twelve caliphs over you, and the whole community will agree on each of them. I then heard from the Prophet ﷺ some remarks which I could not understand. I asked my father: What is he saying: He said: all of them will belong to Quraysh.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ قَائِمًا حَتَّى يَكُونَ عَلَيْكُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً كُلُّهُمْ تَجْتَمِعُ عَلَيْهِ الأُمَّةُ فَسَمِعْتُ كَلاَمًا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَمْ أَفْهَمْهُ قُلْتُ لأَبِي مَا يَقُولُ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: This religion will continue to be strong till the time of twelve caliphs. The people then uttered: Allah is more great and uproared. He then silently a word which I could not understand. So I said to my father: What did he say, father ? He said: All of them will belong to Quraish.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَىْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً قَالَ فَكَبَّرَ النَّاسُ وَضَجُّوا ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً قُلْتُ لأَبِي يَا أَبَةِ مَا قَالَ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "There will be twelve Muslim rulers (who will rule all the Islamic world)." He then said a sentence which I did not hear. My father said, "All of them (those rulers) will be from Quraish." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7222)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَكُونُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا قَالَ فَقَالَ كَلِمَةً لَمْ أَسْمَعْهَا قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبِي إِنَّهُ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us and said, "Verily, this religion will continue to be strong until the time of the twelve caliphs." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke a word that I did not understand, and the people became noisy. So, I asked my father, "What did he say?" He said, "They are all from the Quraysh tribe."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ لَا يَزَالُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً قَالَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَلِمَةٍ لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا وَضَجَّ النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us at Arafat, and he said, "This religion will continue to be powerful, impregnable, and apparent to whoever practices it. It will not harm those who abandon it or disobey it until it is dominant among twelve of them, all from the Quraysh tribe, or as he said."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِعَرَفَةَ فَقَالَ لَنْ يَزَالَ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا ظَاهِرًا عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ لَا يَضُرُّهُ مَنْ فَارَقَهُ أَوْ خَالَفَهُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ

[AI] I was with my father in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This religion will always remain strong." Or he said, "People will always be in a good state." Abu Abdus-Samad expressed doubt until twelve caliphs. Then he said something quietly, so I asked my father, "What did he say?" He said, "All of them are from Quraysh."

كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا أَوْ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ شَكَّ أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ who said, 'This matter will always remain exalted and defended. They will be supported against those who oppose them until there are twelve successors after me.' Then he said a word that I did not hear, so I asked my father what he had said. He said, 'All of them are from the Quraysh.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا يُنْصَرُونَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً أَصَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: This religion will continue to be strong till the time of twelve caliphs. The people then uttered: Allah is more great and uproared. [AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "This religion will always remain mighty and strong, and those who oppose it will be defeated and overcome by it until there are twelve successors after me." He then said, "People will then rise and fall."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا يُنْصَرُونَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً قَالَ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَقُومُونَ وَيَقْعُدُونَ

[AI] I went to the Prophet with my father, and the Messenger of Allah said, "This nation will remain upright in its affair until there are twelve caliphs." Then he said a whispered word, and I asked my father what he said. He said, "All of them will be from Quraish."

انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَعَ أَبِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَزَالُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ مُسْتَقِيمٌ أَمْرُهَا حَتَّى يَكُونَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً» ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The religion will continue to stand until the Day of Judgment, or until there are twelve caliphs, all of them from the Quraysh.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَزَالُ الدِّينُ قَائِمًا حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ أَوْ يَكُونَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "This religion will not be harmed by those who seek it until twelve successors stand up, all of them from the Quraysh."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَضُرُّ هَذَا الدِّينُ مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ حَتَّى يَقُومَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this matter will continue to be apparent and unaffected by those who oppose it until twelve leaders arise, all of them from the Quraysh."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ لَا يَزَالُ ظَاهِرًا لَا يَضُرُّهُ مَنْ خَالَفَهُ حَتَّى يَقُومَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

"لَنْ يَزَال هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا منِيعًا ظَاهِرًا عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيشٍ".

"لا يَزالُ أمْرُ أمَّتِي صَالِحًا حَتَّى يَمْضِيَ اثنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً كُلُّهُمِ مِنْ قُرَيشٍ".

"لا يزالُ أمْرُ هَذه الأمَّةِ ظَاهِرًا حَتى يَقُومَ اثنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةَ، كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيشٍ".

"لا يَزالُ الدينُ قائِمًا حتى تَقوم السَّاعَة، أو يَكونَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً، كُلهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيشٍ".

"لا يَضُرُّ هَذَا الدِّينَ مَنْ نَاوَأهُ، حَتى يَقُومَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيشٍ".

"يَكُون مِنْ بَعْدِى اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ".

"يَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدِى اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً، كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ".
