"لا تَسْألُوا أَهْلَ الكتَابِ عَنْ شَيْءٍ، فَإنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَهْدُوكُمْ وَقَدْ ضَلُّوا، إِمَّا أنْ تُصَدِّقُوا بِبَاطِلٍ، أَوْ تُكَذِّبوا بِحَقٍ، وَاللهِ لَوْ كَانَ مُوسَى حيًّا بَينَ أظهُرِكُمْ مَا حَلَّ لَهُ إلا أنْ يَتَّبِعَنِي".  

[هب] البيهقى في شعب الإيمان والديلمي، وأبو نصر السجزى في الإبانة عن جابر

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not ask the people of the Scripture about anything, for they will not guide you. They have gone astray. Verily, if you were to believe in falsehood, or deny the truth, you would be led astray. Indeed, even if Musa (Moses) were alive among you, he would have no choice but to follow me."  

أحمد:١٤٦٣١حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَغَيْرُهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَهْدُوكُمْ وَقَدْ ضَلُّوا فَإِنَّكُمْ إِمَّا أَنْ تُصَدِّقُوا بِبَاطِلٍ أَوْ تُكَذِّبُوا بِحَقٍّ فَإِنَّهُ لَوْ كَانَ مُوسَى حَيًّا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ مَا حَلَّ لَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَّبِعَنِي

عَبْدُ اللهِ «لَا تَسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَهْدُوكُمْ وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ إِمَّا يُحَدِّثُونَكُمْ بِصِدْقٍ فَتُكَذِّبُونَهُمْ أَوْ بِبَاطِلٍ فَتُصَدِّقُونَهُمْ»
