suyuti:2147a –

The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you inflicts a beating, he should avoid striking the face. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4493)   

السيوطي:٢١٤٧a –

"إذا ضَرَبَ أحدُكُمْ فليَّتقِ الوَجْهَ" .
