Who fasted among you today? Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) replied: I did. He (the Prophet again) said: Who among you followed a bier today? Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) replied: I did. He (the Prophet again) said: Who among you fed a poor man today? Abu Bakr (Allah he pleased with him) replied: I did. He (again) said: Who among you visited an invalid today? Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) said: I did. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Anyone in whom (these good deeds) are combined will certainly enter paradise.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ صَائِمًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ أَنَا قَالَ فَمَنْ تَبِعَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَازَةً قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ أَنَا قَالَ فَمَنْ أَطْعَمَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِسْكِينًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ أَنَا قَالَ فَمَنْ عَادَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ أَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا اجْتَمَعْنَ فِي امْرِئٍ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

Who amongst you is fasting today? Abu Bakr said: I am. He (again) said: Who amongst you followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr said: I did. He (the Prophet) again said: Who amongst you served food to the needy? Abu Bakr said: I did. He (again) said: Who amongst you has today visited the sick? Abu Bakr said: I did. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Anyone in whom (these good deeds) are combined will certainly enter paradise.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ صَائِمًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا قَالَ فَمَنْ تَبِعَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَازَةً قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا قَالَ فَمَنْ أَطْعَمَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِسْكِينًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا قَالَ فَمَنْ عَادَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا اجْتَمَعْنَ فِي امْرِئٍ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Who among you started the day fasting?" Abu Bakr replied, "I did." He then asked, "Who among you visited a sick person?" Abu Bakr replied, "I did." He then asked, "Who among you attended a funeral?" Abu Bakr replied, "I did." Finally, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever does all of these in one day will enter paradise."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ أَصْبَحَ صَائِمًا؟» قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا قَالَ «مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا؟» قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا قَالَ «مَنْ شَيَّعَ جَنَازَةً؟» قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا قَالَ «مَنْ جَمَعَهُنَّ فِي يَوْمٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

" عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ: مَنْ أَصْبَحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْكم صَائِمًا؟ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا، قَالَ: وَمَنْ عَادَ مِنْكُم الْيَوْمَ مَرِيضًا؟ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا، قَالَ: مَنْ شَيَّعَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْكُم جِنَازَةً؟ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا، قَالَ: وَجَبَتْ وَجَبَتْ لَكَ الْجَنَّة".
