ʿO my brother, do not forget us in your supplication.ʿ And he said later in Madinah: ʿO my brother, include us in your supplication.ʿ ʼUmar said: I would not like to have instead of that everything on which the sun rises, because of him saying: ʿO my brother.”  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ اسْتَأْذَنَهُ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُوقَالَ يَا أَخِي لَا تَنْسَنَا مِنْ دُعَائِكَ وَقَالَ بَعْدُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ يَا أَخِي أَشْرِكْنَا فِي دُعَائِكَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي بِهَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ لِقَوْلِهِ يَا أَخِي  

[Machine] Umar sought permission from the Prophet ﷺ to perform Umrah, and the Prophet allowed him. Umar then said, "O brother, include us in your supplications and do not forget us." Abdul Razzaq mentioned in his narration that Umar said, "I do not wish for anything in return for it even if the sun rises on it."  

أَنّ عُمَرَ اسْتَأْذَنَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَخِي أَشْرِكْنَا فِي صَالِحِ دُعَائِكَ وَلَا تَنْسَنَا قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي بِهَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ
