"عن أَبى مليكة ان ابن الزبير أُتِى بوَصِيفٍ سرَق، فأمر به فَشُبِرَ، فوجده ستة أَشْبارِ، فقطعه، وحدثنا أن عمر كتب في غلام من أهل العراق سرق فكتب أن اشبروه إن وجدتموه ستة أشبار فاقطعوه، فشبروه فوجدوه ستة أشبار ينقص أنملة (فترك) ".
