"عَنْ أَبِى لَيْلَى الكِنْدىِّ قَالَ: جَاءَ خَبَّابُ بْنُ الأَرَتِّ إِلَى عُمَرَ فَقَالَ: ادْنُهْ فَمَا أَحَدٌ أحَقَّ بِهَذَا المَجْلِسِ مِنْكَ إِلَّا عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ، فَجَعَلَ خَبابٌ يُرِيهُ آثَارًا فِى ظَهْرِهِ مِمَّا عَذَّبَهُ المُشْرِكُونَ".
