"عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِى نَجِيح قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بنُ الخَطَّاب لجُلَسَائه: تَمَنَّوْا فَتَمَنَّوا، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: لَكِنِّى (أَتَمَنَّى بَيْتًا مُمْتَلئًا رِجَالًا مِثْلَ أبِى عُبَيْدَةَ بنِ الجَرَّاحِ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: مَا أَلَوتْ الإِسْلَامَ! ! فَقَالَ: ) ذَاكَ الِّذِى أَرَدْتُ".

[Machine] Omar said to his companions, "Wish for something." So every man among them wished for something, and Omar said, "But I wish for a house filled with men like Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah."
