"مَا جَعَلَ اللهُ مَنِيَّةَ عَبْدٍ بِأرْضٍ إِلَّا جَعَلَ اللهُ لَهُ فِيهَا حَاجَة".

"When Allah decrees that a slave (of His) is to die in a land, He makes him have some need from it." Another chain reports a similar narration. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2146)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَضَى اللهُ مِيتَةَ عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ جَعَلَ لَهُ إِلَيْهَا حَاجَةً  

hakim:126 – Muḥammad b. Mūsá b. Ḥātim > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan b. Shaqīq > Abū Ḥamzah > Abū Isḥāq > Maṭar b. ʿUkāmis al-ʿAbdī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah has not appointed a man to live on Earth except that He has made for him a need in it."  

الحاكم:١٢٦ – وَحدثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ قَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثنا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ أَجَلَ رَجُلٍ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا جُعِلَتْ لَهُ فِيهَا حَاجَةٌ»  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ فَقَدِ اتَّفَقَا جَمِيعًا عَلَى إِخْرَاجِ جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ لَيْسَ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا رَاوٍ وَاحِدٍ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ آخَرُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ الثِّقَاتِ» رواته ثقات
tabarani:461 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm al-Dabarī > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Ayyūb > Abū al-Malīḥ > Usāmah b. Zayd
