"مَا أتَاكَ الله مِنْ أمْوَالِ السُّلطَان مِنْ غَيرِ مَسْألةٍ وَلَا إِشْرَافٍ فَكُلهُ وَتموَّلهُ".
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the wealth of the ruler. He said, "Whatever Allah has given you of it without asking or oversight, then take it and support yourself." Al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "There is no harm in it as long as one does not vie for it or seek favour in return."
