Had you gives her to your maternal uncles, you would have a greater reward.

أَنَّهَا أَعْتَقَتْ وَلِيدَةً فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لأَجْرِكِ

[AI] He said: I heard Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , saying: I freed a slave girl during the time of the Prophet ﷺ , so I mentioned that to him. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: If you had given her to your relatives, it would have been greater in reward for you.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَقُولُ أَعْتَقْتُ وَلِيدَةً فِي زَمَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ

Had you gives her to your maternal uncles, you would have a greater reward. (Using translation from Muslim 999)

أَنَّهَا أَعْتَقَتْ وَلِيدَةً فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ»

[AI] I freed a slave girl for myself. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me and I informed him of her liberation. He said, "May Allah reward you. If you had given her to your brothers, it would have been greater in reward for you."

أَعْتَقْتُ جَارِيَةً لِي فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِعِتْقِهَا فَقَالَ «آجَرَكِ اللهُ أَمَا أَنَّكِ لَوْ كُنْتِ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ»

[AI] I heard Maymunah say, "I freed my slave girl during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so I mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He said, 'If you had given her to your paternal cousins, it would have been greater in reward for you.'"

سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ تَقُولُ أَعْتَقْتُ وَلِيدَتِي فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَوْ أُعْطِيتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ»

[AI] I heard Maymunah bint al-Harith say: "I freed a slave girl during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , so I mentioned it to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . He said, 'If you had given it to your relatives, it would have been greater in reward.' Muhammad ibn Ishaq disagreed with him."

سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ تَقُولُ أَعْتَقْتُ وَلِيدَةً فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِ أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ» خَالَفَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ

[AI] "She freed a slave during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so she mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, 'If you had given her to your paternal uncles, it would have been greater in reward for you.'"

أَنَّهَا أَعْتَقَتْ وَلِيدَةً فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ

"أمَّا إِنَّك لو أَعْطَيتِها بعضَ أخوالِكِ كان أعظمَ لأجرِكِ".
