" عَنْ حَكيم (*) بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أبيه قَالَ: دَخَلتُ عَلَى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ فِى بَيْتِهِ وَعْنِدَهُ مِنْ هَذَا الدُّبَّاءِ، فَقُلتُ: إِيش (* *) هَذَا؟ قَالَ: هَذَا الْقَرع نُكْثِرُ بِهِ ".

“I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ in his house, and he had some of this gourd. I said: ‘What is this?’ He said: ‘This is Qar’; it is Dubba’. We augment our food with it.”*

I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ in his house, and I saw a beat / zucchini with him. So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is this?" He said, "This is a zucchini with which we increase our food."
